The Whitetop Mountain Band

Many thanks to the NCTA and all those involved with the "Music From the Crooked Road: Mountain Music of Virginia" West Coast tour. It was a wonderful experience of a lifetime! Thank you to all the folks we met, our fellow musicians on the tour, and Josh Kohn and the others who helped bring it all together!!

Our newest CD, "Bull Plus 10%" is now available on Arhoolie Records. It can be purchased from many sources, including Arhoolie and ourselves. This is a live recording made at the Blue Ridge Music Center. Don't forget our CD in the Crooked Road Series from the Virginia Foundation For the Humanities, "Spencer Family and Friends." It can be purchased from the VFH or from us. Thanks to Jon Lohman, Chris Strachwitz and Joe Wilson for their help in making these recordings possible.
Check out the updated schedule and new links. Visit us on MySpace at www.myspace.com/whitetopmountainband.  Jackson and Martha have a new CD, "Home is Where My Mama Sings." You can order it through us or pick one up at our shows!

Thanks once again to Sonny's Kids Foundation for funding our Tuesday night music classes/jam for the upcoming 2007-2008 year! This is the third year they have given us their help and words cannot express how much we appreciate their continued support of our FREE music program which is open to all who wish to particpate!
